"Pastor" Jared Cox's Disturbing Behavior

Over the last months we have viewed Jared's sermons online as we have been concerned for those in his pastoral care. Over the last 12 months we have provided $58,500 in cash contributions to support the Petra Church. However, we have since discovered that there is serious misrepresentation and fraud coming from Jared's leadership. Most recently in his 7/7/24 sermon, his stated beliefs have taken Petra Church into that which is in the legal realm of hate crimes. Specifically in his sermon (see the 25:03 timemark) he stated: "homosexuals don't ever get their kicks off of another homosexual. Homosexuals only get their real jollies, excuse my lack of a better term and crassness of my speech, off of little boys."  The law is very clear on hate crimes and protected classes of people and for that reason we will be taking action to ensure we are not associated with Petra Church Bozeman. We also at this time demand our contributions to be refunded to us due to the misrepresentation and fraud committed by Jared. His actions were fraudulent as he presented himself as man of Christ, ministering in the love that Christ showed us throughout His ministry. Jared's leadership is not as Christ's love but of condemnation and hate.

We recently saw Jared Cox and his family at Donald Trump's rally in Bozeman sitting in the VIP section. Tickets start at $500 each. I find it curious that a "pastor" who continually speaks of not having any money could afford such an event.
